VIENNA NGO COMMITTEE ON NARCOTIC DRUGS

The Vienna NGO Committee on Narcotic drugs met in the press briefing room of the Vienna International Centre for the following agenda:

 update on the arrangements for international forum "Beyond 2008".  Michel Perron, Chairperson of the Steering Committee, and David Turner, Chairperson of the Programme Committee, were both present to provide information.

-  Reply to the letter from CONGO inviting the VNGOC to join;

-  Draft invitation to all Permanent Missions to the UN Office at Vienna to attend a briefing on "Beyond 2008" on 12 September, which UNODC has offered to send out for us on Narcotic Drugs
