We are building the bridges of peace

Decades have passed since Europe was shattered by wars yet disputes still exist!

European women today take the initiative for a quicker resolve to the grudges from the past.

Our strong desire is to Encourage creative and peaceful cooperation among neighbouring countries:

Allowing our children to grow up in a world where boundaries are no longer important; where people mutually respect each other, enjoying the differences, and prepared to learn from one another!

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime has launched a new
international campaign to fight human trafficking.

The international Blue Heart Campaign - http://www.unodc.org/blueheart - aims to raise awareness and bring people together to fight human trafficking. The Campaign uses the Blue Heart to symbolize the sadness of those who are trafficked, while reminding us of the cold-heartedness of those who buy and sell fellow human beings. The use of the blue UN colour also demonstrates the commitment of the United Nations to combating this crime against human dignity.

I was born in Japan and grew up in the country in a Buddhist family. My mother was especially religious. She prayed every morning and evening and offered the first rice of the day to Buddha and the ancestors. When we received gifts from guests we offered the gifts to our predecessors who always protected us at the altar in gratitude.
