Meal in Vienna with ministers after the event

Written by Lilly Gundacker

The hectic schedule of the Ministers Peace Tour was a constant challenge to all participants.

In Krems in Lower Austria, the Family Federation members had prepared a meeting room for November 6th which had already served for previous functions of Unification Church, Family Forum and Women’s Federation for World Peace. The notification that the flights were delayed was registered with composure and the suspense rose as estimations of travelling times were made from the Vienna airport to Krems.

As it became apparent that the times were incompatible, Josef Gundacker, the Regional leader for Lower Austria, cancelled the rooms in Krems. The alternative plan to support the faithful ministers who had exerted their faith but would no longer be able to speak at a local function, took shape as Josef and Lilly Gundacker drove to the airport to welcome “their” Minister: Dr Damon Roach.

Rev. Peter Zoehrer, President of Family Federation for World Peace, Austria took Bishop Stallings together with Rev. – straight to the Park Hotel Schoenbrunn in Vienna. Josef and Lilly Gundacker stayed behind to wait for Rev. Victor Sanchez who had been scheduled to speak in Wels and Dr Damon Roach, whose suitcase did not arrive. After formalities of registering the lost suitcase, the delegation made its way to the Park Hotel where all ministers supported Bishop Stallings in his address and also testified individually. The event itself was significant for all. For those of us who arrived later from the airport, it was a moving testimony of faith as Ministers of various denominations witnessed to Unificationists about the incredible mission Rev Moon has fulfilled for World Peace.
