From May 19th
to 22nd, 2005 a group of 25 Hungarian ladies visited Austria
on the invitation of Womens’ Federation for World Peace Austria

On
Friday, 20th of May they visited a number of kindergartens of
a Viennese Private Kindergarten-chain. They had been invited by one of
the kindergarten teachers there, who is a member of FFWP. During a
meeting with the Board of Directors responsible for the whole
kindergarten chain (35 kindergartens) work experiences and methods of
education were exchanged The Hungarian ladies were accompanied by a
member of their local government responsible for culture and education.

The
next day, Saturday, the Hungarian delegation spent in a seminar centre
near Vienna, in Seebenstein, taking time for spiritual enrichment.
Mrs.Renate Amesbauer, president of the Austrian WFWP gave a speech on
“The female power inside me”, and Mr. Peter Zöhrer, president of the
Austrian FFWP, spoke on the “Three Blessings and universal principles of
happiness”. The lectures were received very well. Mrs. Timea Virag, who
represented the Hungarian WFWP, explained the activities of the
Hungarian Chapter. After the lectures Holy Wine was shared and 2 ladies
were given the Peace Ambassador’s award for their work

This
visit was one of a series of exchange programs between the Austrian and
Hungarian WFWP, which started in 1996, when a delegation of Hungarian
kindergarten teachers first visited the private kindergarten “Ommaya” in
Vienna, which is a project of the FFWP Austria. |

In
1997 a Sisterhood Ceremony was organized between the 2 countries, and
since that time the sister-relationships are ongoing.

Last
year the “motor” behind the activities, Mrs. Rozsika Bekevari,
responsible for several kindergartens for many years, has been given the
Peace Ambassador’s Award in Budapest. |
